私の子供たちに会いましたか？ みな良くやっていました 彼らのことならいくらでも語る事ができます ああ神様、でもそれには何日もかかるでしょう あなたは何が起きたか思い出すでしょう 建物は炎をつきあげ、 空に向かってもだえ、 そして地上に崩れ落ちたのです 私は涙と共に祈ります。 主よ、全ての者の神よ あなたの前に子供たちは着いたでしょう そうです、手みじかに話しましょう 彼らの仕事は人のためでした 彼らはこのような英雄的な状態になりました 子供たちは毎日熱心に働いていました 時には疲れはててかえって来ました 仕事に忠実でした。 彼らより上手なものは誰もいませんでした そこに集まっている彼らをご覧になってください 一人は守衛です 一人は靴をみがいていました 一人は皿洗い 一人は新聞売り 一人はモップをかけていました 一人はトイレの掃除です 一人は秘書 一人は使い走り 一人はコック 一人は郵便の仕分けです 一人は赤ちゃん 一人はコンピュータの仕事でした 一人は救急車を運転し 一人は配管工です 一人はパイロット 一人は給仕 一人はガードマン 一人は大工 一人はフライトアテンダント 一人は電気工 そして一人は今も行方不明です 子供たちはみな 毎日制服を着て出て行きました 子供たちはとても勇敢でした 子供たちはみなヒーローです わたしのこころは 子羊たちのために泣いています アメリカは 私の子供たちを愛しています

Have you met my Children? So good in their ways. I could tell you so much about them, but, my goodness, it would take so many days You recall what happened Buildings bursting into flames Struggles in the skies, dying in the fields. I prayed through my tears. Lord, God of all. Before you, my children arrive. Yes, we spoke, but only briefly. Their concerns were for others. They have fallen in such a heroic way. My Children worked hard everyday. Often returning tired and worn. Ever loyal to the task, none better were ever born. See them now gathered there- One was a Janitor One shined Shoes One was a Dishwasher One sold Newspapers One mopped Floors One　cleaned Restrooms One was a Secretary One ran Errands One was a Cook One sorted Mail One was a Baby One worked the Computer One drover an Ambulance One was a Plumber One was a Pilot One waited on Tables One was a Guard One was a Carpenter One was a Flight Attendant One was an Electrician One is still Missing All of my Children wore the uniform of everyday. All of my Children were very brave All of my Children are Heroes My heart is weeping for my Lambs America Love my Children
